Haitao Zhao, Ph.D. of the University of Nottingham and conducted postdoctoral research at Zhejiang University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2021, he served as an associate researcher at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences, and since 2022 he has been a researcher in the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In February 2023, he joined Wenzhou Institute of Technology as deputy dean and established the Proof-of-Concept Center for Digital Manufacturing of Energy Materials.
Dr. Zhao devotes for a long time to the interdisciplinary research work such as material genome engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence technology, etc., and is the founder of International Conference on Data Driven Materials Innovation and Carbon Neutrality. He was invited by the world-renowned publishing house Wiley to write a monograph on "Digital Manufacturing of Materials", and was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and published a research paper on digital manufacturing of materials "Nature - Synthesis".
International vision and an international platform, core members are composed of personnel from the world's top universities and research institutes, which is a young and energetic research team.
Competitive, the core members of the team have published more than 100 papers in international famous journals such as Nature Synthesis, PNAS, Advanced Materials, Materials Today, etc. Besides, it has undertaken competitive projects at all levels, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and the Shenzhen Technology Research Project.
Moreover, the research group has built a fully automated material digital manufacturing laboratory with complete material synthesis, device assembly, performance testing and various in-situ (electron microscopy) characterization material analysis platforms. Finally, we sincerely welcome those who are interested to join!
